R SHIKSHA TRUST (RST), widely known as RST, was established in 2013 by its then Managing Trustee and Chief Executive Officer, Shri J. Balakrishnan. Currently, the trust is managed by Mr. J. Kumar Managing Trustee and Chief Executive Officer — a dynamic businessman and diplomat.

The founding vision of RST has always been to provide quality education for all, with a special emphasis on supporting underprivileged and marginalized communities. Recognizing that financial constraints often hinder access to education, RST is dedicated to creating opportunities that empower individuals through learning and skill development.

At RST, we recognize that the social construction of knowledge and skills plays a critical role in management science. We believe that no single theory can fully capture the complexities of real-world scenarios, nor can one set of skills be universally applicable to all business environments. In response to this, we actively and regularly conduct industry and trade surveys to ensure our training programs are aligned with current market demands, thereby equipping our trainees with relevant and practical skills.

To bridge this gap, we regularly conduct industry and market assessments to ensure that our training programs remain aligned with current workforce requirements. Through skill development initiatives implemented under programs such as the DDU GKY scheme, we focus on providing practical, industry-relevant training that prepares individuals for sustainable employment opportunities.
